Before we did our storyboard, me and Ella decided to annotate the lyrics. We did this before the storyboard so we could have a vague idea of what would be going into the video and how many different shots and different actors we would need. I felt this was a good thing to do as it allowed us to tell a story using different couples, and by using the instrumental time at the beginning and end to highlight any locations, props and characters we would us. Hopefully it would give the audience an idea as to why you then see these in the music video and do not just appear to be placed randomly.
We also wrote down where we have got our ideas from, then we could use the idea yet change it to suit our video. I feel if we use this when we go to shoot, we can tell the characters how we want them to act as we have written down how they should behave, for example 'Laughing, smiling on sofa' and 'happy, sad, thoughtfulness'. I believe that having this with us, we can also tell who it singing certain lines as each character has a specific number and then it matches next to some of the lines.
