In the process of research and evaluation, Jemma and I used a variety of different technologies. To plan the dates that we were going to film on, we used popular social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook and text messaging, as in doing this we were able to easily and quickly communicate so that we could properly prepare.
The main media technology I personally used during the process was Blogger, in order to update most of the preparation for both the main product and the ancillary products. I was able to then refer back to these to reform my ideas. Another reason for regularly posting on Blogger was so that my teachers would be able to see my ideas and the process and so would be able to say what they think would or would not work.
During the early process of the preparation, we filmed the pitch on my iPod, then I put it from it onto the computer and uploaded it to iTunes. From iTunes I straight away upload it to Blogger. The process of this was fairly simple and efficient as I carry around my iPod with me anyway and regularly connect it to the computer, which I have easy access to. Jemma and I also used iTunes to transfer the Regina Spektor song to my memory stick in order to embed it into the music video.
To make both the digipak and poster for the ancillary products, I used Photoshop. As I used it last year for AS Media, I found this relatively easy as I was used to how it worked. However, it would sometimes play up and I got confused at times due to not having been on it for a while.
To search for the fonts that I was going to use on both my poster and digipak I used dafont, on which you can download a very large variety of fonts. This proved very useful as I used more than one font from the website which I think well suited the genre I needed.
Lastly, Jemma and I used youtube and tubechop to find videos to inspire our own product and then cut the specific parts that we liked the most. From tubechop we uploaded them to Blogger and used them in the planning process.

Don't forget that you have also useda google or other search engine on a PC to do your research and planning.
